OMG this was DELICIOUS!!! I can't wait to go back and try another dish! I got the chicken shawarma with Greek salad and bolgar rice. So much flavor, so fresh, chicken was juicy, big portions. My little guy loved watching them cook through the big glass windows next to the kitchen while we waited. Plenty of parking and seating. Can't wait to go back and try some beef and the baba gonnoj!!

Given that it was a soft open and the food prep rhythm needs slight fine tuning, this was really great food! If you have had real Mediterranean Food before, you will NOT be disappointed!!! I’ve tried others in the area and they don’t taste Mediterranean, more like Mexican American with Mediterranean twist. But THIS is authentic. Rich flavorful succulent meats with tons of FRESH veggies. Perfectly tangy, zesty, savory and herbaceous. YUM YUM YUM

The restaurant is located behind the Lompoc Fuel gas station, but they have made good use of the space. The seating area is set up outside on a tiled floor, which we really liked. It was surprising to see a big chandelier in such a small area. It was a brave decision, I must say.The menu at this restaurant is extensive, and it took us around 10 minutes to decide what to order. There is a wide variety of options, including some that were new to us, like Iskender. Half of the menu is dedicated to vegan dishes, which is great for vegans and vegetarians. We decided to try the Shawarma Bowl and Iskender Falafel, and we absolutely loved them. We couldn't stop eating! The best part is that the prices are unbelievably reasonable. It was our first time trying Iskender, and we think the chef did an excellent job. All the items we tried were delicious, and we could see the dedication in the way they were served. Service was slow, especially for meats and Iskender, we waited for more than 15 min but food was definitely worth the wait. While we were there, we noticed many people getting takeout orders. The best thing is that there are so many customization options available. Lastly, we ordered a bowl of hummus and pita, and we were amazed by the generous portion size for the price. Keep up the good work! Happy Mediterranean in Lompoc is definitely doing things right.

Wow! Food was so delicious and fresh!! And the portions were very generous. I have been wanting to try this place and was very happy with everything I had. I ordered the combination plate. It's so nice to have something totally different to eat in town.

Updating now that I've come here myself:They're having a "Soft Opening" so take that into account when coming here. It may take a sec for you to place your order while they learn and optimize the point-of-sale system and kitchen workflows. As before our food was delicious, they were missing some of the menu items due the soft opening and running out of ingredients. It was no biggie for us because we were ordering a lot. I guess if you're coming for a specific dish it's better to call it in to make sure they'll have it before you come down.We tried a combo plate which was huge and lovely. My partner loved the beef kabob and the Greek salad. I had a falafel sandwich will was wonderful. We also got a grilled veggie sandwich which was great, lots of deliciousness hiding in each bite. I'm not sure if I like the grilled veg or the falafel more. The staff here are lovely. They apologized profusely about me waiting my turn to order and about not having items, which was totally unnecessary, but it shows their humility and appreciation of their customers. The restaurant is looking cute already with a big chandelier and a tiled outdoor dining area. They have nice propane heaters for the cool nights and this patio will be awesome in summer time. They had some lovely classic rock playing while I waited and I got to hear Rolling Stones and other favorites. One of the workers brought me fresh bread right out of the oven to snack on while I waited for my order and it was delicious. Our family loves this place and we'll be coming back often. My original post: I can't really review the service or the place because someone just brought home a sandwich for me, but that sandwich was amazing. I can't wait to go here again. I think what I tried was the fried veggie sandwich. It was stuffed, saucy and complex. I loved every bite!

We were pleasantly surprised by our outrageously tasty dinner this evening. My fiancé ordered the beef shawarma bowl over bulgur wheat. It was a beautiful salad full of peppers, onions, pickled vegetables, bulgur wheat, topped with a generous serving of spiced beef shawarma (spiced beef roasted on a spit over open fire). The garlic sauce was out of this world. The beef was well seasoned with spices like coriander, nutmeg, allspice, etc. Not spicy as in hot pepper spicy but very tasty!I ordered the combination platter which was a mix of seasoned chicken, beef kebob (ground beef mixed with spices), and what seemed to be marinated tri tip sections (more tender than chewy). It came with a side green salad (bell peppers, olives, tomatoes and lots of cucumbers), humus and eggplant dip. It also came with fries or bulgur wheat or rice pilaf. I highly recommend both the rice pilaf and bulgur wheat but neither are gluten-free fyi. This was an enormous dish for 20.00.The owner was in the kitchen and treated us to some freshly baked bread. Service was excellent. Seating is outdoors with nice heaters and drinks are next door at the gas station. This is a much needed addition to the lompoc culinary scene. We are so pleased and wish them all the best!
